The Volta River Authority(VRA) has partnered with Ghana Institute of Journalism(GIJ) to recruit interns from the Institute as part of the Institute’s Acadamic assessment.
Speaking on behalf of the CEO of VRA, Dr Agyenim Boateng indicated that, students interested in the energy sector will be trained to give accurate reports in that sector.

Dr Boateng disclosed during the Grand durbar organized by the Institute to commemorate it’s 60th Anniversary Celebration at the new site in Dzorwulu on Wednesday 16th October, 2019.
Over the years, GIJ has contributed to the training of renowned journalists and Public Relation Practitioners . The likes of Kafui Dey, Naa Ashorkor, Shemimah Muslim, Johnny Hudges, Anas Aremeyaw Anas among others.

GIJ is currently celebrating 60 years of training reputable Journalists and public relations practitioners in Ghana and for being the leading communication Institute in Ghana and Africa since it’s inception in 1959.
The celebration ends with a gala and dinner on Saturday 19th October 2019 at the Trade Fair Centre in Accra. You can grab your tickets at the Institute.
